Terrorists attacked Police office in Loralai, Baluchistan killing Ten people along with eight police officials and injuring more than 19 people. Loralai is the northeastern principal city of Baluchistan province, neighboring Afghanistan. Sources told the Arab News that three armed terrorists entered the office of Deputy Inspector General of Police. The Deputy Inspector General and other senior officials were evacuated from the scene. They were conducting the interviews by newly recruited police officials, sources further told. Two of the four attackers were killed in retaliatory police fire, according to reports. The injured have been moved to a nearby hospital for treatment. According to the Police Chief, Terrorists entered in the official camp area and started firing which was followed by hand grenades attacks. Security forces killed all three terrorists in the retaliation, Later security forces carried out clearance operation.
Earlier on 1st January,4 security personnel were also killed during a heavy fire fighting when terrorists tried to enter in the security forces compound inside a Frontier Corps training center in same Loralai district. According to the media wing of Pakistan Armed Forces, four terrorists were shot dead during the counter operation. The valiant and timely action of security forces denied entry of terrorists into the residential area, which would have resulted in more number of casualties,” stated the Armed Forces Media Wing.
