Are Fake Hate Crimes A Hate Crime Themselves?

We are not even a full two months into 2019 and we already have another fake hate crime. Since the 2016 election, fake hate crimes have been on the rise. Last month it was the Covington Catholic High School kids who were smeared by an edited video that surfaced of them appearing to harassing an elderly Native American man.  After the full video came out and so did the truth. It was just another failed attempt to cause racial unrest and vilify the MAGA hat.

Now we have the alleged attack of “Empire” actor Jussie Smollett. The attack has sprawled into a three-week saga of confusing reports and contradictions. Smollett, who is black and gay, maintains that he was the victim of a brutal hate crime. But following the arrest and subsequent release of two men in connection with the incident, the Chicago Police Department said new information had “shifted” the investigation. It’s pretty safe to say at this point it’s a hoax.

So who is to gain from all of these fake hate incidents?  Since most of these incidents are intended to demonize conservatives, so one could guess the Democratic Party.  Since they have no real political agenda outside of the foolish “Green New Deal”, how else could they win an election? It’s the old “Divide and Conquer” technique.  Unfortunately, these stories are being spread by the fake news media and backed-up by liberal politicians. Both Cory Booker and Kamala Harris took to Twitter before the facts came out to politicize the whole incident. Possibly to push an Anti-Lynching bill designating lynching as a federal hate crime.

In the end, it’s just a form of racism against white conservatives, Trump supporters and a means to division. So when are people going to start facing charged for these false police reports? Or is justice and “Due Process” just a political stunt these days?
