At today’s meeting of the Board of Governors, Britain, France and Germany circulated a draft resolution in which members expressed strong concern about “reduced transparency on the part of Iran” and called on Iran to back down.
Coinciding with the meeting of the Board of Governors, Rafael Grossi, Director General of the Agency, expressed concern about the reduction of inspectors’ oversight in Iran and its impact on the preparation of a report on the implementation of Tehran’s obligations.
Grossi Warning: If no agreement is reached, we are facing “completely new conditions” about Iran.
She said there was no alternative but to agree to collect data from Iran because Iran had suspended the protocol.
