Two soldiers die in attack with rocket launchers on the border with Colombia

Two Venezuelan soldiers were killed in an armed attack with rocket launchers on the Apure border with Colombia. The incident occurred on Wednesday, March 31, reports a military report cited by the digital medium Tal Cual.

These two dead soldiers are joined by two other members of the National Armed Forces (FAN), who died during a first confrontation with alleged irregular groups on Sunday, March 21, in the Coromoto sector, Rafael Urdaneta parish of the José Antonio Páez municipality, Apure state. .

The note from Tal Cual indicates that the incident occurred when a mixed commission carried out patrolling, reconnaissance and scrutiny operations in the El Ripial sector, near the border with Colombia, before being ambushed and attacked with a portable rocket launcher (RPG).
