Thousands Attend Khabat Amini’s Funeral in Kurdistan

Behesht Mohammadi in Sanandaj became the site of an emotional farewell to Khabat Amini, a courageous young man who lost his life battling a mysterious fire on Mount Abidar. Thousands of Kurds, alongside civil activists, grieving families, and nature enthusiasts, gathered with heavy hearts to pay tribute to his selfless sacrifice.

Chants of “Uncle Khabat is a hero – a martyr of Kurdistan” and “A martyr does not die” echoed through the crowd, filled with passion, pride, and sorrow. After fighting for his life in the hospital for days, Khabat ultimately gave his life for his people and land. Today, he was laid to rest, forever etched in the hearts of his community and the history of Kurdistan.
