Clandestine Cooperation: Arab-Israeli Efforts to Counter Iran Amid Gaza Tensions

Classified documents have exposed covert military collaboration between Israel and several Arab nations, orchestrated by the U.S. Central Command (Centcom), to curb Iran’s regional influence. According to The Washington Post, high-ranking military officials from Israel and Arab states convened in Bahrain, Egypt, Jordan, and Qatar between 2022 and 2025, under the banner of the U.S.-led “Regional Security Consortium.”

Despite public criticism of Israel’s actions in Gaza by some Arab governments, these nations have quietly deepened ties with the Israeli military. The documents reveal plans for a unified air defense system to counter Iranian drones and missiles, with Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Egypt, and the UAE integrated into the Pentagon’s radar and communication networks by 2024.

Further initiatives include the creation of a “Combined Middle East Cyber Center” and an “Information Fusion Center” by 2026 to enhance cyber and informational coordination. Centcom has also pushed narratives promoting regional unity and prosperity to counter Iran’s pro-Palestinian rhetoric.

This leak unveils a transformative shift in Middle Eastern dynamics, with former adversaries aligning under U.S. leadership to reshape the region’s strategic landscape.
