The Polish border is set to go into a 30-day state of emergency to further prevent refugees and migrants entering the country.
The Polish government accuses the authoritarian leader of Belarus, President Alexander Lukashenko, of pushing them to Poland to create instability in the EU.
At least 250 migrants got to Germany from Belarus. Almost all are Iraqis. In Belarus, they were “carried by armed men in masks in cars with no number plates”. An estimated 3000 to 11000 Iraqis are still in Belarus according to Frontex.
