Two Iranian military vessels, the Sahand destroyer and the Makran forward base ship, have sailed into the Atlantic, marking the first time Iran’s Navy has reached the ocean.
Earlier media reports suggested the vessels might be heading to Venezuela, but that remains to be confirmed.
