This evening, Saturday, August 21, 2021, the President of the Republic, Dr. Barham Salih, made a phone call with the Emir of Qatar, His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.
During the phone call, they discussed the common brotherly relations between the two countries and ways to enhance them in various fields to achieve the common interests of the two brotherly peoples.
A number of regional and international issues of common interest were also discussed, in which the importance of consolidating security and stability in the region was emphasized.
