Taliban holds meeting in Tehran

The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan Political Deputy & Chief of Political Officer Mullah Baradar Akhund, along with his delegation met with FM of Islamic Republic of Iran Javad Zarif & his delegation in Tehran. Both sides discussed peaceful solution to the Afghan issue & the peace process according to the Taliban. Baradar has led negotiations with the US in Qatar and peace discussions in Moscow this year. He also has held discussions with Pakistan and other countries. The Iranian discussions with the Iranian Foreign Minister, who held a call with Palestinian Islamic Jihad the same day. After spiking gasoline prices sparked protests throughout Iran, Zarif seems to be building a multi-faceted campaign against the United States and their allies.
