“As previously forecasted the decreasing coronavirus trend is fragile and the delta variant continues to have its impact. Yesterday’s stats indicate a 24.34 percent rise in the number of new cases and a ten percent rise which can finally lead to another drastic escalation in our figures. Sporadic and small flares here and there across Iran can set the stage for the fire under the ashes of the delta variant, and of course, render a sixth wave. And this is when the fall season is nearing and cold weather can result in more problems throughout the country,” according to a Monday piece wired by the Fars news agency, an outlet linked to the Revolutionary Guards (IRGC).
“The figures recently provided by the Health Organization regarding the number of children orphaned as a result of Covid-19 is wrong because the number of coronavirus deaths is not accurate. Therefore, the exact number of children orphaned due to Covid-19 is far more than what is being reported. The post-coronavirus damages are far more than what we had warned about. Despite all these explanations there has yet to be any follow-ups by the country’s officials,” said Mostafa Eghlima, head of the Social Workers Scientific Association on Monday, according to the state-run Jahan-e San’at daily.
With more than 380 people hospitalized in the past 24 hours the total number of coronavirus patients in West Azerbaijan province stands at 2119, of which 311 are in ICUs and 63 are under ventilators. During this period 25 patients lost their lives, according to a Monday report wired by the regime’s official IRIB news agency.
“Yesterday 306 new patients were hospitalized and for the second consecutive day we had 18 people lose their lives. Currently there are 1385 patients hospitalized, off which 229 are in ICUs,” said the spokesperson of the Kermanshah Medical Sciences University on Monday, according to the semi-official ISNA news agency.
“Conditions are fragile. 285 new coronavirus patients are being hospitalized each day. Currently we have 1500 coronavirus patients hospitalized across the province, of which 420 are in ICUs,” according to a statement released on Monday, according to the regime’s official IRNA news agency.
“During the past 24 hours 107 people have been hospitalized and 18 have lost their lives to coronavirus. Currently there are a total of 710 people hospitalized, of which 222 are in dire conditions,” said the dean of Qom Medical Sciences University on Monday, according to the regime’s official IRNA news agency.
“During the past 24 hours 18 patients have lost their lives. 113 patients with coronavirus symptoms were hospitalized and the total number of patients hospitalized currently stands at 981,” said the dean of Alborz Medical Sciences University on Monday, according to the Fars news agency.
